This bench-mounting mechanical load frame is ruggedly constructed to encompass the strain and loads involved with the test. A limit switch is provided for the bottom limit of travel. A handle is provided for manual operation during calibration. The machine is supplied complete with load ring 30 kN cap. incorporating stem brake feature to hold the maximum reading. For testing 4” (101.6 mm) dia. specimens the 50 kN load ring/ load cell should be used instead of the 30 kN fitted on the machine. The machine comes with Marshall Stability Test Controller.
